Supposedly FunI welcome any and all communication! Leaving a comment on a post is a great way to engage in a discussion. Just please, no spam. For the love of everything sacred, please no spam. I hate it. Anyway, I started this blog because I missed working in a bookstore and having the opportunity to talk about all these things I love with others, so please feel free to participate as much as you like. Basically, if you don’t tell me what you like I’m just guessing here. And you might see stuff that just bores you to tears. Help me help you. But wait! There are other ways to get in touch or just generally keep up to date with what’s going on here. Social media is magic.

Facebook

Like me on Facebook and you can get all the new posts right there in your feed. You can also comment, like, share, and message me from there. You know how it works.

Twitter

Links to new posts and some general musings from me about what I’m reading, what’s going on in the world, and many opinions. My husband is a chef, so you might hear about what I’m eating, too. It’s worth it. Follow me @SupposedlyFun.

Instagram

Basically the same as twitter, except you can actually see everything. Including the delicious things my husband cooks. Follow me @SupposedlyFun.

Pinterest

There’s a little bit of everything going on at my Pinterest page. Cool book covers, awesome libraries, recipe ideas, funny things, quotes, beautiful log cabins that I will someday live in, and more.

  1. I read “Out” by Natsuo Kirino four years ago and still remember its impact. This is what I wrote in my journal about the book…….”very readable and thrilling. It was nauseatingly riveting”. Hope you like it.

  2. You asked for suggestions for the western genre. I recently read “Doc” by Mary Doria Russell. It’s about Doc Holliday in late 1800’s Dodge City, Kansas. Good story, wonderful writing.
